I can’t believe I haven’t updated the blog in over 3 months!! Life is a blur of bottles, mashed peas and poopy diapers these days. The girls are doing amazing and learning new things all of the time.
Evie loves to roll everywhere and will end up 10 feet from her original spot if you’re not watching. She loves to say “Blah blah blah” and blow raspberries. At her last pediatrician appointment in January she weighed 13 pounds. Her favorite is bananas and she even used her sippy cup for the first time over the weekend! We’re working on sitting up and standing, but she’s doing really well!!
Teagan is such a good baby. She hardly ever cries or fusses and loves to eat! She squeals and will jump all day in the jumperoo (I think the downstairs neighbors hate us). She’s sitting up on her own and loves to play with her laptop. She will eat absolutely anything and chows down on baby food. We think she will be crawling in no time! At her last weighing she was almost 16 pounds!!
Adeline cracks us up! She’s always making funny faces and has the most hilarious laugh. She loves saying “da da da” and is the most talkative while eating. She LOVES to stand and will hold herself up on the coffee table. She’s able to sit for very, very short periods of time on her own, but she’s still working on it. She loves laying on her tummy and watching Baby Einstein. She’s our little peanut and weighed about 12 pounds at her last weighing. She’s still wearing 0-3 months at 10 months old, but we just think she’s fun sized:)
We’re in a good routine and we’re down to 4 bottles a day! The girls eat solids at breakfast and dinner and we’ll be adding in lunch in the next few weeks. They sleep for 12-13 hours a night and take 2-3 naps a day. They love watching Baby Einstein DVD’s and playing with toys. We’ve started planning their First Birthday Party and it’s going to be quite the event!!
We’re so lucky to have come so far and have 3 healthy little girls!

We’re not really sure if anyone reads these anymore, but just in case here’s an update:)
Everyone is great! Evie is 10 pounds, 2 ounces..Teagan is 12 pounds, 9 ounces…and Adeline is 10 pounds, 5 ounces:) The babies are getting ready for Halloween with their kitty cat costumes and will be helping us pass out candy!
We started rice cereal a couple weeks ago and so far so good! They’re still getting the hang of it but aren’t spitting it back at us anymore so we’ll take it. Everyone smiles really big and is really ticklish. They’re starting to “talk” a lot more and love to have very serious conversations sometimes. We’re down to about 6-8 diapers per baby (around 150 diapers a week!) and we usually do about 4-6 feedings a day depending on the baby. Everyone is pretty much sleeping through the night too! Their bedtime is around 7pm and usually the first one wakes up around 5 or 6am. We definitely have a good routine worked out and we’re getting the hang of it.
We’re really looking forward to the holidays and seeing family!

The girls are doing amazing!! We haven’t had much time to update since all of the girls came home. Life is definitely busy!! All of the girls are in perfect health these days and are gaining weight really well!! Adeline and Evie are both almost 9 pounds and Teagan is over 11! Everyone is smiling and playing with toys and we’re working on sleeping through the night!

After 105 days, Adeline finally got discharged from the NICU on Monday night!!! We have pictures and more updates but we are just a little bit busy these days;) As soon as we can get a moment to sit down for longer than 5 minutes we’ll be adding those to the blog:) Just wanted to share the happy news!
Evie is finally home!!! We brought her home around 9pm tonight and so far everything is going great! Both her and Teagan are major grunters so it’s been nonstop chatter since we got home, but I think they’re really happy to be back together. It’s really crazy how much bigger Teagan is! But they look pretty similar. Evie is Teagan’s mini-me:)
Adeline is still in the nicu and working on her bottle feeding. As soon as she gets that down she’s ready to come home too!! She’s getting better…just needs a little more practice.
Weights are: Teagan- 6 pounds, 3 oz (as of last week’s pediatrician appointment). Evie- 4 pounds, 13 oz. Adeline- 5 pounds, 12 oz.
Tomorrow would be my due date! And today is the girls’ 3 month birthday:) Happy 3 months babies!!

Evie & Adeline are still doing good in the nicu…Evie is still off of her feeding tube and taking all of her feedings by bottle. She had her hearing test and car seat test this past week and passed both! She weighs 4 pounds, 8 ounces. So she should be coming home soon!!! Adeline is still working on the bottle feeding but she’s getting better and better. She’s weighing 5 pounds, 6 ounces.
Teagan is doing really good at home! She’s eating good and sleeps pretty well. She does have some reflux issues but we’re trying to keep her as comfortable as possible. She’s ready for her sisters to come home:)

Sorry we haven’t updated in awhile but we have been incredibly busy and exhausted since we’ve been taking care of a BABY!!! TEAGAN IS HOME!!!!:):):):) For the last week we’ve been juggling taking care of her and also trying to find time to go up and see Evie and Adeline. It’s been pretty exhausting but we’re starting to get into a routine and things are getting a little easier.
So last Monday our neonatologist decided to discharge Teagan! We had roomed in at the nicu on Friday night to get the hang of feeding her (which sounds crazy but feeding a preemie is so different from a regular baby). We got to the nicu at 8am Monday morning to catch rounds and we finally left with Teagan at around 5pm. From there life has been a blur of feedings, spit up and doctors appointments! But things are going good. She had her first pediatrician appointment last Wednesday and they said she looks good..She weighed 5 pounds, 4 oz and was 18 inches long. Then she had an eye exam on Thursday and her ROP is getting better. It’s down to a stage 1 in one eye and a mild stage 2 in the other.
Evie and Adeline are doing awesome! They’re now in open cribs! Adeline is off of oxygen and getting better with bottle feeding every day. She’s been having some digestion issues so they’ve been watching that. Evie got her feeding tube out over the weekend so she’s taking all of her feedings by bottle now! Adeline weighed 4 pounds, 10.7 ounces on Sunday and Evie was 4 pounds, 2 ounces. They should be coming home soon and joining the chaos:) They also had their eye exams on Thursday and Adeline’s ROP is starting to resolve like Teagan’s…Evie’s is slowly resolving but they’ll be rechecking her’s this Thursday to make sure it continues in the right direction.
